Mitchelburne Day – Saturday 18th September 2010
Mitchelburne Day will begin with a parade leaving Rossdowney Park at 11 am sharp making its way though the Waterside and across Craigavon Bridge to The Apprentice Boys Memorial Hall, Society Street. View Full Parade Route
Initiation of new candidates will take place in the Apprentice Boys room at approx 12.30pm followed by tea in the Upper Hall at 2pm. The rest of the afternoon will be taken up by tours of the new Apprentice Boys Museum, St Columbs Cathedral and the historic City Walls.
All Apprentice Boys welcome.

Mitchelburne Day is over for another year!
There were approximately 170 on parade including the Parent Club, various branch clubs, members from other Parent Clubs and the Pride of the Orange and Blue “Auld Boys” Flute Band. Eight new candidates were initiated into the Mitchelburne Club, two for the Parent Club and six for the Ballymoney, Blaugh and Articlave Branch Clubs. The Annual visitation to the graves of Col Micthelbune and Col Murray in conjunction with the mUrray Parent Club will take place today (Sunday 19th September 2010).
